Delving
Inward

Looking inward, I find clarity and
confusion, motion and stillness, balance and instability.
This off-kilter wall quilt, whether hung
diagonally or on the square, suggests movement and change.
It was surprisingly hard to sew entirely with plain
colored fabric, without the nuance and shading of the printed fabrics to
soften and blur the design.
This small 'tilted quilt' can be displayed as a diamond, or it can be hung as a somewhat freeform, yet very lively and
energetic square.
25 x25 inches square or 36 x36 diagonally
Cottons, silks, rayons, velvets
Quilted by hand with varied
bright-colored threads
