The Middle years
The quilt is quite literally dense with
memories and personal meaning, as it is a montage of my favorite
garments.
The quilt itself is dense and heavy. It is
perhaps a half-inch thick in many areas. Many of the fabrics were
scrunched to provide their own padding.
Some fabrics are hidden, perhaps signifying
secrets, perhaps just layered over by something else.
