 The skier was cut from a scrap of Ultrasuede®,
painted with Seta Fabric Paints, and fastened to the quilt with
invisible stitches.
The slalom course is quilted with metallic threads in
doubled hand-stitching.

It took some dainty sewing to construct the glacier
lilies.
They are sewn of silk scraps.
The flower blossom is about an inch long, which will
give you a scale for appreciating the density of the hand-quilting
stitches behind it.
