The hand-dyed background fabric has been
over-painted. and then quilted by hand.
The cat and the gravestones have been appliqued by hand.
The fence, gate, walkway, and the flowers have been appliqued by
machine.

This is the haunted house, which is about 36
inches wide.
The house is quite 3-D, because it was quilted separately before it was
appliqued onto the background.
Three of the turrets are topped with actual copper washers; the whale
weathervane is made from fabric painted with copper fabric paint.
