This cape was a
real pleasure to make After months of
anxiety about the Worry Bird Cape, and all the fussing and indecisiveness
involved in the Balance Cape, I was down to the wire. Time was running out
and I had one more caped figure to create. Somehow,
I abandoned my incessant fretting and perfectionism and responded purely
to the colour and form that I was working with. Within
three days, I had sewn and quilted "Exuberance". As
you can see below, the quilting created sculpted patterns on the lining of
the cape. |
